2 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS!!! 

ANNOUNCEMENT #1:  6/30/26 @ 10AM   UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DUE TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HEAT EMERGENCY, THE JULY ODA MEETING AT HISEY PARK WILL BE CANCELLED.  WE WILL DO 2 MONTHS OF FINDS OF THE MONTH IN AUGUST.  PLEASE STAY HYDRATED IF YOU'RE STILL DETECTING IN THIS WEATHER AND BE MINDFUL OF THE CONDITION OF THE GROUNDS YOUR DETECTING.

​ANNOUNCEMENT #2:  STARTING IMMEDIATELY, WE ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO HUNT IN ARMCO PARK.  THERE HAVE BEEN A COUPLE SITUATIONS RECENTLY WHERE OUR MEMBERS WERE APPROACHED BY PARK SECURITY AND THE NEW CEO OF THE WARREN COUNTY PARKS DOES NOT WANT ANYONE DETECTING THERE.  I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IF THIS MEANS ALL WARREN COUNTY PARKS OR JUST ARMCO.  SOMEONE RECENTLY WAS FOUND TO BE DETECTING ON ONE OF THE FIELDS WITH A FULL SIZED SHOVEL AND LEAVING A MESS BEHIND.  DUE TO THIS, WE ARE ASKING ALL CLUB MEMBERS TO REFRAIN FROM DIGGING IN WARREN COUNTY PARKS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  WE PREACH THIS ALL THE TIME THAT WE NEED TO BE SURE WE ARE BEING GOOD AMBASSADORS OF OUR HOBBY AND THIS IS THE NEGATIVE AFFECT WHEN SOMEOME CROSSES THE LINE.  WE WILL BE DISCUSSING THIS AT THE NEXT MEETING AFTER HOPEFULLY GETTING SOME FEEDBACK FROM PARKS LEADERSHIP.
